If something happened on a date
Use Report in the app. It ends the call before opening the form, so you do not have to stay on screen with the other person. High-severity reports page the on-call safety team while the session is still running. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Ever is not an emergency service.
How fast we answer
- Exposure, sexual harassment, threats, anything suggesting somebody is under 18, or a coerced request for money: first response within 15 minutes during a live session.
- Everything else safety-related: within 4 hours.
- Everything else: within 24 hours.
Common questions
Who can see my photo?
Anyone Ever offers you a date with can see your profile photo, first name, age, rough distance, and one answer before either of you accepts. Your profile is not public or searchable, and Ever's matching system never uses or ranks your photo. A moderator can also see it when reviewing a report.
Is anything recorded?
No. Ever and its provider do not record or store video, audio, or transcripts, including when someone files a report. The other person can still record their own screen, and Ever cannot prevent or detect that.
Nobody matches me
Review your filters and adjust only the choices you genuinely want to change. Ever applies them in both directions and never widens them for you.
Ever isn't in my city
Join the waitlist on your city's page. The counter there is real, the threshold is real, and we open a city when it is met rather than on a date we announced.
